Louis Roederer's Cristal 2009 is an exceptional champagne, the result of a sunny and generous vintage that yielded grapes of extraordinary ripeness and intense, refined wines. Made from a blend of Grands Crus from the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs, it combines 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, with 16% vinified in oak barrels and no malolactic fermentation. After aging for 6 years in the cellar and 8 months after disgorgement, it has a dosage of 8 g/l. Golden yellow in color with amber highlights and fine, lively bubbles, the nose opens with a bouquet of candied citrus, apricots and acacia honey, enriched by notes of toasted hazelnuts and spices. The palate offers a silky and delicate texture, enriched by chalky freshness and lively energy. With its perfect balance and crystalline purity, it embodies a unique life force and extraordinary elegance.
