The Brunello Mercatale Riserva 2017 interprets a hot and dry year well, highlighting floral and fruity aromas accented by smoky hints, anticipating a well-profiled mouth in its refined chiaroscuro. The Ridolfi wine project, by the Venetian entrepreneur Giuseppe Valter Peretti, began in 2011, proving to be well-conceived right from the start. The style of the wines is based on a classicism revisited in a modern key, which relies on the potential of the vineyards in the Mercatali area, in the north-eastern quadrant of the Ilcinese denomination. The result is wines of impeccable execution, which look convincingly at balance and finesse.
