For Brunello di Montalcino DOCG the grapes are harvested in September/October, when they reach the optimal level of ripeness. Produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes, vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with long maceration and traditional pumping over. Brunello di Montalcino Cantina Fornacina is a wine with great personality, with a varied and fascinating profile. Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, due to aging. The aroma is intense with red and ripe fruit, with spicy notes. On the palate it is full, persistent, with soft and elegant tannins.
