Barolo "Me.GA Mosconi" - 2019 - Anselma Family
Barolo Me.GA MOSCONI DOCG is a high quality wine, produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards, located in the MOSCONI Additional Geographical Indication in the municipality of Monforte, cover an area of 2.11 hectares with an average age of 38 years. The vinification takes place through spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts for 4-5 weeks in steel, followed by a minimum aging of 2 years in large Slavonian oak barrels in the underground cellars in Barolo. The wine is released on the market 4 years after the harvest. With an annual production of 6,800 bottles, it has a strong aroma of red berries, tobacco and mushrooms, and a complex palate with notes of walnut, cocoa and a marked minerality. The finish is persistent and spicy.
