Barbaresco "Cascina Maria" - 2021 - Demarie Farm
The small section of Langa, northeast of Alba, includes the municipalities of Barbaresco, Treiso, Neive and S. Rocco Seno d'Elvio, characterized by hills covered with vineyards. From about 650 hectares of vineyards, almost three million bottles of Barbaresco DOCG are produced, a highly prestigious wine of Piedmont, obtained from selected grapes and aged in oak barrels. Barbaresco has a garnet red color with ruby hues, a harmonious and complex aroma of violet, dog rose, apple, cherry, vanilla and spices, and a dry, caressing, robust and extraordinarily elegant flavor.
