Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - 2015 - Valentini
Valentini's Montepulciano is an extraordinary and complex red wine, considered one of the best in Italy. Produced in Loreto Aprutino from Montepulciano grapes grown without chemicals, it is made only in excellent years. After a manual harvest, it ferments with indigenous yeasts and ages for 12 months in oak and chestnut barrels, followed by 4 years in the bottle. Deep ruby red in color, it offers a rich nose with notes of coffee, plum, chocolate and humus. On the palate it is broad, fresh and harmonious, with a long and unforgettable finish. A wine that sits among the greats of the world.
