Castello Banfi has its roots in the renowned wine region of Tuscany, having been established in 1978 by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani. This renowned winery is famous for producing a high-quality Brunello, obtained from the company's vineyards selected through zoning studies initiated in 1980, which identified the best areas to grow Sangiovese. The result is a complex and elegant Brunello, which impeccably represents the exceptional vintage. On the nose, fruity aromas of blackberry and plum jam emerge, accompanied by delicate notes of coffee, pipe tobacco and a subtle touch of spice on the finish. On the palate, the full structure is harmoniously balanced by soft and ripe tannins, with a finish that is distinguished by its richness and persistence.
