Angelo Gaja is an iconic figure in Italian wine, recognized for his revolutionary vision and crucial role in promoting the great wines of Piedmont internationally. Managing about 100 hectares of vineyards in the Langhe region, he produces exclusively from his own grapes, without the use of winemakers. Its innovation is reflected in the adoption of modern techniques such as the selection of the best plots, low yields and the use of French barriques for aging, breaking with local traditions. Among his masterpieces are Sorì Tildin, Sorì San Lorenzo and Costa Russi. His Sito Moresco combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Nebbiolo, offering an intense red with aromas of red and black fruits, violets and woody notes, with soft tannins and a fresh vivacity. Perfect with structured dishes, it represents the epitome of Gaja elegance and innovation.
