Barbaresco "Serragrilli" - 2013 - Marchesi di Barolo
This Barbaresco Serragrilli DOCG 2013 has an intense garnet color. On the nose it releases rich hints of red and black fruit jam, enriched by spicy nuances of white pepper, licorice, coffee and leather, closing with delicate balsamic notes. On the palate it is warm, full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long and fresh finish. Ideal in combination with structured and tasty dishes, such as a stewed veal fillet. Produced by the Marchesi di Barolo, this wine ages for a year in Slavonian oak barrels and French oak barriques, and then rests in the bottle.
