Thanks to the privileges of its terroir and the loving and passionate care in winemaking, barrel aging and bottling, the wines of Château Maucaillou achieve an exceptional class that is no match for many Great Crus Classés of the Médoc. The wines of Château Maucaillou are sumptuous in color, with particularly subtle aromatic power and pleasantly fruity; with very ripe and concentrated aromas; harmoniously balanced, full-bodied and generous, full of finesse and elegance. They are "long in the mouth" with a certain "friendliness" that characterizes them and considerable aging potential due to very fine but well-present tannins.
