Chianti Classico - 2015 - Badia a Coltibuono
Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico was born out of a steadfast dedication to respect for biodiversity, worker health and the environment. Located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region of Siena, Sangiovese grapes from the vineyards of Monti (in Gaiole) and Vitignano (in Castelnuovo Berardenga) are carefully harvested, with complementary varieties carefully selected. Vinification takes place in Monti's modern winery, where only natural yeasts and delicate techniques are used to maximize the complexity and balance of the grapes. The result is a wine with a firm but refined structure that fully embodies the character of Sangiovese and its pleasantness.
