Cairanne “Grand Vin” - 2015 - Dauvergne Ranvier
Cairanne is located in the "Haut Vaucluse" region, near the papal enclave. Our Grand Vin grows on clay and limestone soils and combines syrah, grenache and mourvèdre grapes. The wine was aged partially in tanks and in old oak barrels for 10 months. A deep red color encourages the palate. The very distinct nose evokes red and black fruits with a hint of licorice and olive. The palate is slightly savory and becomes very rounded before ending on a spicy note.
