Matured in medium-sized barrels and barriques, the 2018 Brunello Assunto, dedicated to the winery's founder, is a graceful example of the type: clean, mouthwatering aromas of strawberry, mint and a few citrusy hints anticipate the flavors of the sip, which spreads sweetly, with discreet, slightly bitter tannins that gradually give way to a fruity and, in closing, floral savoriness.
