Conero Sassi Neri is a wine made from pure Montepulciano grapes, born of rigorous selection. First introduced in 1988, it is named after the Sassi Neri beach, one of the most beautiful on the Conero Riviera. The wine ferments in steel and ages in barriques for 12-24 months, with a final bottle aging of at least 6 months. Intense ruby color with garnet reflections, it offers an intense impact on the nose with hints of small red underbrush fruits, spices and balsamic notes. The palate is firm, with rich but silky and enveloping tannins and a long taste-olfactory persistence.
