Roero Arneis - 2018 - Vietti
Grapes come from selected vineyards in Santo Stefano Roero, with limestone-clay soil and vines about 30 years old trained on Guyot. Vinification involves destemming, soft pressing and slow fermentation in stainless steel at 14-16°C to preserve freshness and intense fruit. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and remains on fine lees until bottling, between January and February. Straw yellow in color, it has fresh floral aromas, citrus, melon and mineral notes. The palate is dry, with medium body, fresh acidity, well balanced and elegant, with good complexity and persistence.
