Nero d’Avola - 2001 - Baglio Hopps
Company founded two centuries ago and forerunner of modern winemaking in western Sicily. They began producing high-quality Marsala from the early 1800s and then expanded their range with native products, such as Nero d'Avola, which would later be exported to the Anglo-Saxon market. Baglio Hopps is now one of the most important wineries on the island and a stop on many wine tours.
