In 1972 Maison Janneau reintroduced Double Distillation in the region, and for the past twenty-five years it has blended brandies made by Continuous Distillation with others made by Double Distillation. The latter method, the first to be originally used in the area, is undoubtedly the most complex system. The end result is distinguished by great finesse, light body, fruity hints and a more balanced and complete maturation already in the first years of aging.
