Chianti Rufina Riserva "Nipozzano" - 1988 - Frescobaldi
This historic wine, produced at Castello di Nipozzano in Chianti Rùfina, represents the Tuscan winemaking tradition, with strong ties to the terroir. Composed of 90% Sangiovese and the rest of complementary grapes such as Malvasia nera, Colorino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it offers complexity and balance. Maceration lasts 25 days, including alcoholic fermentation, with pumping over to improve color extraction and soften tannins. Malolactic fermentation immediately follows alcoholic fermentation, contributing to the wine's structure. A symbol of elegance and tradition, it expresses the typical character of Chianti Rùfina.
