Chianti Classico "Guado Alto" - 2021 - Castello Vicchiomaggio
Chianti Classico Guado Alto is an estate cru, made with rigorous pruning and consequent lower yields in the vineyard to have more concentrated grapes. It is meant to represent a smooth, rounded version of vintage Chianti Classico. The color is bright ruby. Wild berries stand out on the nose along with tobacco leaves and a spicy touch of cloves. In the mouth it has great fruit envelopment and intensity. The tannins are absolutely velvety and the finish is reminiscent of blueberry juice.
