Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is produced only in the best vintages, in a limited edition. An almost pure Sangiovese with Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera (2%) for the emblematic wine of the Lamolese territory.
After vinification it ages for three years in large 22Hl oak barrels.
The nose is intense and rich, with notes of ripe red fruits, underbrush and menthol scents and more spice. The sip is broad and enveloping with soft, smooth tannins.
