Chianti Classico "Casanuova di Nittardi" - 2021 - Nittardi
Casanuova di Nittardi Chianti Classico is a 100 percent Sangiovese wine grown in the Doghessa Vineyard, located at 450 meters above sea level with southeastern exposure, on soil rich in Galestro and Alberese. Every year, to pay homage to Michelangelo, an artist creates two works: one for the label and one for the silk paper that wraps the bottle. Since 1981, internationally renowned artists such as Hundertwasser, Yoko Ono and Dario Fo have participated in the project. The wine has a ruby red color, hints of cherries, violets, Mediterranean scrub and licorice, with a balanced and persistent structure, ideal for Tuscan meat dishes.
