Chianti Classico - 2021 - La Montanina
Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. 2021 is composed of 95 percent Sangiovese and 5 percent Ciliegiolo from various plots located in Monti in Chianti. After careful selection of the grapes, maceration takes place without stems for 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This is followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and maturation for at least 12 months in 10 and 20 HL French and Slavonian oak barrels. After blending in concrete tanks, the wine ages in bottle for at least 6 months. It has a deep ruby red color, spicy and fruity notes, with balanced tannins and good persistence.
