Corte Brà wine, made in the historic vineyards of Valpolicella Classica, is derived from grapes grown under the Veronese pergola and spurred cordon systems. The southern exposure and calcareous clay soil favor optimal ripening. The grapes, harvested by hand and dried for about three months, lose 30-40% of their weight. After destemming and soft crushing, fermentation and a five-year maturation in wooden barrels takes place, followed by six months of bottle aging. The wine has a deep red color tending to garnet with aging. The bouquet is complex, with notes of cherry, dried fruit and tobacco. On the palate, it stands out for its power and elegance.
