Made from Sangiovese grapes from the slope called Montornello, in cooler, rainy summers this wine dilutes its structure in favor of greater complexity. This Chianti is deep ruby red in color with garnet highlights. Nose of cherry, black cherry, ripe red fruits with hints of underbrush and spice. Thick structure accompanied by lively freshness and lingering savoriness.
