Wine created from a selection of grapes from the vineyards of Il Torriano (300 asl), in the locality of Montefiridolfi. In these hills, which have always been suited to the cultivation of our best Sangiovese, Patrizia Cateni planted her first vineyard with modern systems, in soils rich in red clay and sedimentary rocks of alberese and galestro, with mainly southwest exposure. Wine of a deep, bright ruby color. Rich bouquet of ripe black cherry, underbrush, rosehip, violet, dried orange peel and raspberry jam. A still young nose that promises great evolution over time. The body is full and envelops the palate, the sip is rhythmic, sleek, the tannic texture has a very fine texture and the pleasantly savory finish gives depth and length. A wine that enhances the characteristics of Sangiovese in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, playing on elegance and balance between softness and hardness.
