Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. Gran Selezione is a prestigious Sangiovese wine, produced at 300/350 m.a.s.l. It matures for about 30 months, half in 25 hl barrels and half in terracotta amphorae from Fornace Montecchio. It presents an intense ruby red color with garnet hues. On the nose, it offers a balanced bouquet of ripe red fruits such as morello cherry and plum, combined with spicy notes. On the palate, it is intense and persistent, elegant and complex, with a very long finish.
