This wine comes from a selection of grapes from the Costa Grimaldi Vineyard, located in Terlo, in the commune of Barolo. Garnet red in color with amber highlights, it offers an intense and enveloping bouquet. It is full-bodied on the palate, but with soft tannins and a long, spicy finish. Production is limited to a few thousand bottles per year. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled steel and cement, with post-fermentation maceration, followed by aging in oak barrels for many months and further rest in the bottle.
