Barolo - 2020 - Virna Borgogno
This Barolo is made from several prime vineyards located in the commune of Barolo, such as Preda, Sarmassa and Cannubi, to enhance the unique organoleptic qualities of the area's medium-textured soils. Each vineyard is vinified separately to preserve the distinctive characteristics, with blending occurring only before bottling. Although it is a classic assemblage Barolo, it is distinguished by its complexity, the result of the excellent plots selected. Thanks to the southeastern exposure and clay-sandy soils, balsamic and menthol notes emerge, accompanied by precise and well-defined tannins, all while maintaining a lively freshness.
