Sassaia - 2005 - Angiolino Maule
Sassaia is made from 90% Garganega and 10% Trebbiano grapes from vineyards located near our winery in Gambellara. The soil is mainly clay, rich in skeleton and of volcanic origin. The color is an intense straw yellow. The nose is mineral, initially delicate but fascinating. In the mouth it has a soft entry, supported by a slight tannicity. The finish is enlivened by good acidity that perfectly balances finesse and power.
