Pinot Noir produced at Marklhof in the Cornaiano (Eppan) area is located at an altitude of 350 to 420 m on permeable moraine soils with a porphyry base, facing north/northwest. It is cultivated with the Guyot training system. This medium-textured wine is brick-red to ruby-red in color. Intense notes of black cherry, red fruits, plum and hints of underbrush stand out on the nose, while on the palate it is elegant, soft and juicy, with a harmonious and well-balanced taste that enhances its pleasantness and finesse.
