Famille Hugel, also known as Hugel & Fils, is a historic winery in Riquewihr, Alsace, that has been in business for nearly 400 years. It is renowned for its wines made from the six noble varieties of Alsace: Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Sylvaner and Muscat, as well as Pinot Noir. The portfolio includes the Classic range with varietal wines, the Estate range with wines from clay soils, and superior ranges such as Jubilee, Tradition, and the prestigious Schoelhammer Riesling. Founded by Frédéric Hugel in 1902 after the phylloxera epidemic, the winery now owns 75 acres, half of them in grand cru vineyards.
