Chianti Classico Riserva "Le Bandite" - 2020 - Lornano
Chianti Classico Riserva D.O.C.G. is a wine composed of 100% Sangiovese grapes from a single vineyard located 330 meters above sea level, with south/southwest exposure. The vineyards are cultivated using the spurred cordon system, on soils of stratified sands and alluvial shale. The grapes, harvested between October 10 and 20, are destemmed and vinified in stainless steel, with a 25-day maceration on the skins at 26°C. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for 20 months in French oak barrels, followed by 6 months in bottle. It is a full-bodied wine with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, licorice and tobacco, and a long finish with notes of blood orange.
