Chianti Classico - 2021 - Banfi
This is Chianti Classico, made from Sangiovese grapes assisted by other traditional varieties that enrich its aromatic and olfactory baggage. It ferments in steel vats for ten days and then ages three months in French oak barrels of various blends. Bright ruby color. The nose unleashes hints of violet, blackberry, raspberry and cherry amplified by spicy notes that prelude a full-bodied, persuasive taste. Non-invasive, well-crafted tannins anticipate a finish with long persistence.
