Barolo - 2020 - Negretti
This Barolo is a family cru blend, produced from vineyards located in Roddi and La Morra. Composed of 100% Nebbiolo, it comes from marly, clay and sandy soils with southern and southeastern exposures. On the nose, it has a complex balance of red and black fruits, alchechengi berries, hints of spice and powder. In the mouth, it is intriguing and forthright, with elegant tannins and a mineral savoriness that make it spellbinding. Vinification involves a 14- to 18-day fermentation on the skins in stainless steel, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aging takes place in French and Austrian oak.
