Giovanni Sordo's Barolo is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards in Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba, Barolo, Novello, La Morra, Verduno and Grinzane Cavour. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 300-400 meters with south-southwest exposure. The soil is composed of compact limestone marls, rich in microelements. The wine has a garnet red color with orange hues that become more intense with time. The aromas are ethereal, intense and persistent. The palate is warm, full and complex, with sweet and harmonious tannins that enhance its austerity
