Azienda Agricola F.lli Cigliuti, a family business that has been in operation for four generations, produces about 30,000 bottles a year, aiming to express the local terroir at its best. Barbaresco Serraboella DOCG is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Serraboella cru, in Neive, on limestone soils at an altitude of 350 meters. The vines, aged between 25 and 55 years, have a yield of about 40-45 quintals per hectare. The wine ferments and macerates in temperature-controlled steel tanks, then ages in Slavonian oak barrels and French tonneaux. The first vintage dates back to 1964.
