Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil is a small appellation in central Loire in France. Cabernet Franc grapes are mostly used in this area. The proximity to the Atlantic Ocean plays a key role, as it lends minerality to the wines produced in this area, which are characterized by spice and red fruit aromas while being velvety in the mouth.
