Pintia is a young and bold wine from the Toro appellation, produced by the Vega Sicilia family with an innovative and revolutionary approach. Harvest is by hand, with carefully selected clusters undergoing cold maceration for 5 days before fermentation in oak vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place entirely in wood, followed by aging for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Deep cherry red in color with cardinal highlights, the nose is broad and elegant, with intense fruit notes and a subtle touch of fine wood. The palate offers a robust structure with well-balanced tannins, freshness and persistence, accompanied by delicate floral nuances in the retro-nasal, perfectly embodying the marriage of tradition and modernity.
