Dolcetto d'Alba - 2017 - E.Pira & Sons Farm
The Dolcetto grapes used for this wine come from the estate vineyards, characterized by typical Elveziano soils, with calcareous-clayey formations and siliceous sandstones. The wine has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, persistent floral and fruity aromas of violets and small red fruits stand out, giving an immediate pleasantness. Thanks to a contained tannicity and a calibrated structure, it is considered "the everyday wine" par excellence, satisfying without being too demanding. The vinification takes place in steel, with automatic temperature control techniques, to preserve freshness and elegance. In short, it has an organoleptic profile characterized by a dry, slightly tannic, full and fresh flavor.
