Coteaux du Layon St Lambert - 1991 - Domaine Ogereau
Spread across 27 communes, the vineyards of Coteaux du Layon produce one of the most renowned wines of the Loire Valley. There are seven AOCs that more specifically reflect their terroir. The stony soils, with dominant schist, siliceous or partially clayey, give sweet wines of great complexity. The grapes, obtained exclusively from the Chenin blanc vine, are harvested by successive selection once the noble rot has perfectly developed.
