Chianti Classico Riserva "Insuella" - 2020 - Borratella
Chianti Classico Riserva "Insuella" is a wine that expresses the essence of its unique terroir. With an intense ruby red color, this wine offers a well-balanced aromatic bouquet with notes of berries and blackberries, enriched by spicy hints and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it has a good tannic flavor, silky and enveloping, with a balanced, dry and slightly spicy aftertaste. The Sangiovese and Merlot grapes that make up this wine grow on a south-west facing terrain, at about 300 meters above sea level, rich in structure and dominated by calcareous Alberese stone on a medium clay base. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with a maceration on the skins of about 25/30 days. The wine then ages for 24 months in tonneaux and first passage barriques, and is refined in the bottle for a further 4 months.
