Don Tommaso Chianti Classico, "Gran Selezione" starting from the 2010 vintage, enhances the natural potential of the marriage between Sangiovese and Merlot. It is a wine with a contemporary style, but firmly anchored to the territory. The fruit is deep and complex, the drink is broad, soft and intense. It is a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes of the company. This Chianti has a ruby red color, compact but vivid, expresses a sinuous, exuberant and sensual character to the nose with typical sensations of morello cherry, violet, plum, undergrowth and balsamic nuances. Its strong points of taste are a well-disposed tannic texture, a soft and delicious sip - to which the small balance of Merlot also contributes - and an acidity camouflaged in the fruity and balsamic structure. Persistence with a slow release of dark fruity flavors, accompanied by sensations.
