Sarmassa is a vineyard facing south-east, on a hill with a good slope, with calcareous-clayey soils typical of the Serravallian period. The abundant presence of stones and clay limits the vegetation of the Nebbiolo vine, favoring an optimal ripening of the bunches and making the vines sensitive to climatic variations. The wine obtained has an intense garnet red color, with complex aromas of wild rose, wild violet, cinnamon, cloves, pine resin and tobacco. On the palate it is full and elegant, with evident but soft tannins, promising a good evolution over time.
