Barolo "Brunate" - 2018 - Ceretto
Ceretto, a Piedmontese winemaker founded in 1930 by Ricardo Ceretto, is known for its high-quality Barolos and Barbarescos, pioneering the trend toward single-vineyard wines. In the 1970s, the company built two wineries: Bricco Roche in Barolo and Bricco Asili in Barbaresco. Since 1986, it has been producing "cru" wines from selected single vineyards. The wines are fermented in stainless steel with wild yeasts and aged in French oak for up to two years, resulting in delicate yet intense wines. In addition to Barolos and Barbarescos, Ceretto produces several other Piedmontese wines, including Langhe DOC Bianco and Dolcetto d'Alba.
