Barolo - 2020 - Icollirossi Farm
Barolo iCOLLIROSSI comes from vineyards that extend over 5 hectares around Monforte d'Alba, obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. This wine is rich, broad and enveloping, with a persistent finish, combining elegance and power, while remaining delicate and fragrant. After a soft pressing with destemming, the must ferments with maceration of about ten days on the skins. The aging takes place in wood for 24-30 months, followed by a period in the bottle before being released for sale. The color is garnet with orange reflections during aging. The nose offers aromas of ripe red fruit, black cherry, currant, blueberry, with notes of tobacco and cinnamon.
