This Barolo "Altenasso" is a wine produced by the Cavalier Bartolomeo company and is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It has a garnet color with characteristic orange reflections that become more evident with aging. Quite intense, persistent and fine aroma, with hints of blueberry, black plum and slight hints of candied orange peel, dried almond, woody and boisè humors. The flavor is dry, slightly fresh but savory, very warm, still tannic, with good structure and persistence with a bitterish aftertaste.
