Altavilla of the Court - 2009 - Firriato
Grillo is a vine that is rapidly growing in Sicilian winemaking. Grown on the western shore of Sicily, it is harvested in the last weeks of August. It has a pale straw yellow color, and on the nose it recalls the scents of the island with fresh citrus fruits, almonds and melons. Altavilla della Corte is a persistent and mineral wine due to the choice of growing it in the hilly area of the Borgo Guarini Estate, characterized by strong winds and significant temperature variations.
