Pollenza is a prestigious Bordeaux-style red wine made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the brainchild of Giacomo Tachis and linked to the territory of Urbisaglia, formerly Pollentia. This iconic wine, with its silky, deep tannic texture, expresses the strength of feelings and family roots of Aldo Brachetti Peretti, heir of Count Ugo. The grapes, hand-picked and vinified in separate tanks, mature for 15 months in French oak tonneaux, followed by at least 24 months of bottle aging, to create a living liquid that celebrates the link between Italian tradition and French grape varieties.
