Carpineto's Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is produced in the oldest production area of Chianti Classico, an area that stretches between Florence and Siena, characterized by historic villages, hills covered with olive groves and vineyards, and white roads lined with cypress trees. This red wine is made from Sangiovese, Canaiolo and other red varieties, and is vinified with temperature-controlled red maceration.
It is matured in Slavonian and French oak barrels for at least 12 months, followed by bottle aging under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. It presents a deep ruby red color with garnet highlights, an elegant and persistent bouquet with notes of vanilla and raspberry, and a velvety, generous and warm flavor. Ideal to serve in decanters at a temperature of 18-20°C, this wine expresses the excellence and tradition of the Chianti Classico region.
