Barbera d'Alba Vigna Vecchia Scarrone represents a fine expression of Barbera from the oldest part of the Scarrone vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, with southeastern exposure and low yield due to the age of the vines. After a cold pre-fermentation maceration, the wine ferments for about two weeks in steel vats, followed by post-fermentation maceration and aging for 18 months between steel, barriques and barrels. It shows a ruby red color, intense aromas of ripe red and black cherries, vanilla and spicy notes. On the palate, it offers fresh acidity, full body and balance, with a lingering finish.
